JPlatform Page Scheduler Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 30, 2026

JPlatform Page Scheduler is a desktop productivity tool for authorized Facebook Page operators. It helps users connect their Facebook account through our server-managed OAuth flow, view Pages they can manage, schedule or publish Page posts, upload post images, and create follow-up comments. The app does not generate content automatically and does not post to Pages that the user has not selected.

Who Operates This Service

JPlatform Page Scheduler is operated by JPlatform. For privacy, security, or data deletion requests, contact us at the email address listed below.

Information We Process

How We Use Information

We use this information only to provide the JPlatform Page Scheduler workflow: account connection, Page listing, Business Portfolio Page discovery, scheduled Page posting, direct Page posting, image upload, comment creation, retry handling, publish-status checks, and execution log display. Review evidence temporarily displays recent comments on one app-created post so the authorized Page operator can distinguish Page comments from user-generated comments.

Meta Permissions

JPlatform Page Scheduler requests only the Page permissions needed for the workflow selected by the user: pages_show_list, business_management, pages_manage_posts, pages_manage_engagement, pages_read_engagement, and pages_read_user_content. These permissions are used to list manageable Pages, discover Business Portfolio Pages, create Page posts, create comments, and check post status for the execution log. pages_read_user_content is used only when the operator opens Review evidence for an app-created post. The backend reads up to 25 comments for that post and temporarily displays them as Page comments or user-generated comments. The comment response is not persisted, exported, profiled, sold, or used for advertising.

Storage and Security

OAuth code exchange and App Secret usage happen only on the JPlatform Page Scheduler server. Access tokens and Page tokens are stored server-side in the application's database and are not exposed to the desktop application. The desktop app stores local preferences such as draft content, selected Pages, presets, and the installation identifier, but it does not store Facebook passwords, App Secrets, user access tokens, Page access tokens, or server execution logs. The Page post and comments loaded by Review evidence are held only for the current display and are not written to the application database or local storage.

Retention

Connection records and tokens are retained while the account remains connected. Temporary OAuth sessions are kept only for a short operational window. Job records and related events are retained as operational history for scheduling, troubleshooting, security, and abuse-prevention purposes, and are deleted or anonymized when they are no longer needed according to the operational retention process.

Sharing

We do not sell personal data. Information is shared with Meta/Facebook APIs only as necessary to perform actions requested by the authorized user.

User Controls

Users can disconnect a Facebook account in JPlatform Page Scheduler. Users can also remove the app's access from their Facebook or Meta account settings. Removing app access may prevent future posting or Page listing until the user reconnects the account.

Data Deletion

Users can request deletion of their JPlatform Page Scheduler connection data, stored tokens, Page summaries, and applicable operational records. See the Data Deletion Instructions.
